Skilled Nursing Services

Home Health Nurses provide periodic services to patients at home. After assessing patients' home environments, they care for and instruct patients and their families. Home health nurses care for a broad range of patients, such as those recovering from illnesses and accidents, cancer, and childbirth.

Our Registered Nursing Services include:

	Pediatrics (maternal and child)
	Renal
	Pulmonary (includes care of patients on ventilators)
	Rehabilitation
	Enterostomal
	Oncologic

	Neurological cardiac
	Intravenous (IV) therapy (includes total parenteral nutrition (TPN), enteral and parenteral)

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists (PTs) provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. They restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists (OTs) help people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. They work with individuals who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling. They also help them to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Occupational therapists not only help clients improve basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also compensate for permanent loss of function. Their goal is to help clients have independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

Home Health Aide

The Home Health Aide provides personal care and basic nurse's aide procedures such as:

	Range of motion exercise
	Home management
	Meal preparation (if required)
	Specimen collection
	Transferring techniques

Personal Care Homemaker

The Personal Care Homemaker (PCH) helps the patient to stay in his or her home during stressful times of illness and/or recuperation by providing light housekeeping, laundry services, kitchen clean-up and errands. The PCH can also prepare and serve nutritious meals if needed, provides companionship and assists the patient as needed, excluding medical care.

Respite Care

This service provides relief to a family member, friend or any non-professional caregiver caring for a sick patient at home. With Respite Care, a home health care worker will come to the patient's house a few hours per day every week enabling the family member to attend to other business and activities.

Live In Care

Through this program, professional or para-professional health care personnel provide 24-hour at home care for the patient.

Private Duty

This service allows any member of the nursing team to attend to the health care needs of a patient confined to a health care facility for a specified period of time or in the patient's home.

Supplemental Staffing

Seraphic Springs provides supplemental staffing for Nursing Homes, Retirement Homes, Hospitals, Mental Health Care Facilities, Adult Day Care Programs and Assisted Living Residences.

SERA-RIDE

Sera-Ride, is a transportation service for Senior Citizens and people with disabilities. We provide door to door transportation service in Milford and surrounding areas. For:

• Doctor’s visits
• Grocery shopping
• Lunch Engagements
• Shopping at the Mall
• any other necessary outing.

Hours of Operation: Mon—Sat 7am-7pm Call 508-634-2401.
